Women’s Underwear

Women have a huge range of options compared to men’s underwear, not only must women choose between thong, short, mini, tanga and French knickers, there’s also bras and hosiery to think about.

There are even boxer-style briefs available for women. And, while men tend to opt for cotton or a cotton/Lycra mix, women’s underwear also comes in silk, satin and lace.

The choice of knickers depends on the occasion – for example everyday wear, simple cotton panties are most women’s choice, simple nice fitting and easy to wash.

Matching underwear bra and knickers are a must, if you start mix and matching then you will never feel as confident and sexy as you should and remember what if…yes you get hit by a bus!

Men’s Underwear

Men’s underwear is subject to fashions and trends just as much as women’s – loose boxers were the undies of choice in the 90s, but trunks and tighter boxers (boxer briefs) are far more stylish now, and briefs themselves are making a comeback. As long as they look classy and new, they’ll go down a storm!

Underwear for men can be divided into four main categories:

  • loose-fitting boxers
  • stylish and sexy trunks
  • practical briefs, such as the classic Y front
  • the show-off’s choice: thongs

Fashion Underwear

Fashion underwear is a relatively new term and is aimed at both men and women. Looking good and wearing sexy undergarments has been on everyone’s agenda in order to attract the opposite or same sex for a long time.

Designed by the fashion industry this underwear will follow this year’s trend in terms of colour, design and embellishments.

A few years ago top of the womens underwear fashion items were thongs, they were the height of fashion for a few years, but these have now given way to more practical French knickers and girl boxers.

As with all fashions, the most important thing to consider when buying underwear is how well they fit and whether they suit the wearer.

For men, fashion underwear includes both briefs and boxer briefs, but men’s underwear is generally less governed by fashion than women’s. Again, what matters is what fits and suits you best and what you think you look sexy in.

Boys’ and Girls’ Underwear

For kids’ underwear, it’s best to stay simple and cheap, opting for basic designs in a cotton or Lycra mix, bearing in mind that the wearer will grow out of them soon enough. But that doesn’t mean boys and girls can’t choose bright colours and designs.

Not for kids silk underwear is a favourite for both men and women.
