Suspenders

Suspenders are the perfect finishing touch to your sexy lingerie. Perhaps it’s the old-world glamour they covey, or the bare flesh between the stockings and suspender belt, but women in suspenders have always been one of the sexiest of images.

Suspender Pantyhose

Pantyhose or stockings are available in all the colours of the rainbow, in all sizes and patterns. But the classic look with a suspender belt is plain black stockings with a plain or lacy band at the top. For a touch of feminine charm, there are also stockings with coloured lace or ribbons around the top seam. Also available are stockings with a back seam, in the style of those worn during World War II.

Suspender Clips

If this is your first try with suspenders and stockings, suspender clips might take a bit of getting used to. Don’t assume that you’ll get it right first time: even if you manage to work the clips, you might find that the suspenders are attached unevenly.

How to put on Suspenders

The suspender belt attaches around the hips. Most modern suspenders are attached with hook-and-eye clips, in much the same way as bras clip together. Once the suspender belt is in place, two straps should hang down at the front and two at the back.

Now roll up each stocking in turn and gently ease it over the leg. Before doing this, you should have clipped your toenails and removed any coarse skin on your feet – stockings can be very sheer and easily ripped or snagged. Take very great care not to tear them with fingernails.

To clip the suspender strap to the stocking, insert the ‘button’ part of the clip between your leg and the stocking. Then, on the other side of the stocking, slide the hook over the button until it is secure.
